I have owned this software for years and used it occasionally. Tried to run the disk and got an error message that it's not compatible with 64 bit Windows. What else can I do?

It seems that this is the only version released and it's indeed for older version of Windows OS. However, you can install Windows XP through VirtualBox and then run the application in the virtual machine. To set up a virtual machine, first download and install VirtualBox (free of charge) then use the guide to create a working machine.
Once Windows is up and running, use the menu from the VirtualBox to mount a DVD drive then you can insert the physical DVD and access it inside VirtualBox
Note: A Windows install disc is necessary to be able to install it properly.
I have 100's of projects on my old computer in Print Shop Premier Edition 5.0 and I have Print Shop Deluxe version 3.5 on my new computer. I transferred the old project on to my new computer but the will not open in the new program.

You can't install the application on your new computer because you lack compatibility. However, if you still have it installed on the old computer, use the EXPORT function. This allows you to export the data to a known format recognized by the Print Shop Deluxe. Then transfer the content to the new PC and open it in Print Shop Deluxe. However, the Print Shop Deluxe supports importing files from the following applications:
The Print Shop version 10 and higher.
American Greetings CreataCard 5 and higher.
American Greetings Spiritual Expressions 3 and higher.
We just updated to Windows 7 on our computer and I haven't been able to re-install The Print Shop Premier Edition 5.0 on the computer. Is there a download that I need to do before I can install The Print Shop to our computer?

There is a possibility that the application is not compatible with your version of Windows. In this case, try applying a compatibility fix to the setup package. If the service is activated, Windows will automatically ask you if you want to apply a compatibility setting in case the application is not working correctly.
Try using the application with compatibility settings on and selected for Windows XP or Vista.
